Government of India has launched a National database development plan to promote pharmaceutical research. It is being sponsored by : NSTMIS, Department of Science & Technology, Ministry of Science & Technology. Govt. of India. The project was initiated for “Study of Bottlenecks in Industry, Academia and Institution Linkage in Pharmaceutical Sector and Development of a Database for Academia-Industry Partnership Promotion”.
The Project is being hosted at B. R. Nahata College of Pharmacy- A SIRO (Scientific and Industrial research Organization)
The project aims at studying of the bottlenecks at one hand and preparation of a National Database at the other to promote the partnership. Considering the models being used in US, EU and China the outcome of this project shall also help the Government of India design its Educational and Industrial policies.
